Salmon Leather Fish skins- Vegtanned - MYSTERY

These hides are part of our standard stock of Salmon skins, but are lot ends from the factory. As such, they are generally regarded as "B" grade, with odd shapes/sizes and potentially markings/holes/pinholes/scars. But they are offering at an extremely competitive price to reflect these markings.

SQUAMA RAW: Its tight, perfectly symmetrical grain over the entire surface makes it easy to use for ornamentation, watchmaking, sheathing and leather goods. Highly resistant, it can be finished to give a light, perfectly flattened or soft appearance. .

SQUAMA GLOSS: The GLOSS collections have been developed to achieve a bright and perfectly smooth leather. Following a finishing step that gives the leather a uniform colour and greater resistance, the entire surface is plated to set the pattern.

SQUAMA METALLIC: Metallic collections with character so special, enhance the natural pattern of the leather by playing with light. Following a finishing step providing a uniform shade and greater resistance to the leather, the entire surface is plated to freeze the pattern.

Skins given may not be exactly as shown. Texture and pattern may vary, and may include markings or pinholes. Skins may be different than the quoted size due to odd lot nature.

These vegetable tanned Salmon skins are from ICTYOS in France, a tannery specializing in fish leathers, with world renown sustainable production practices.
