Beaver Tail Vegetable Tanned Leather

Beaver tails have an incredibly unique pattern that is ideal for fine leather work, inlay and small accessories.  The leather is naturally waterproof, and the natural vegtan surface provides a great blank canvas to dye and custom paint to your delight.

These hides are sustainably sourced and vegtanned in Canada. The North American beaver is a wonderful "exotic" leather alternative. Approx 5”x11" average at widest points

Available in 3 colours - Natural, Crust, Oiled Brown

Natural is a natural vegtan colour, very standard honey tone.
Crust is a vegtan hide without any oils, ready and easy to dye to bright vibrant colours.
Oiled Brown has been dipped in a neatsfoot oil to give a wonderful dark brown mottled hue.
