Beaver Tail Vegetable Tanned Leather

Beavertail has an incredibly unique pattern that is ideal for fine leather work, inlay and small accessories.  The leather is naturally waterproof, and the natural vegtan surface provides a great blank canvas to dye and custom paint to your delight.

These hides are sustainably sourced and vegtanned in Canada. The North American beaver is a wonderful "exotic" leather alternative. Approx 5”x11" average at widest points

Available in 2 colours - Natural Brown, and Oiled Black.

Natural Brown is a brown natural vegtan colour, very standard honey tone.
Oiled Black has been dyed then dipped in a neatsfoot oil to give a wonderful black mottled hue.

C-Grade is a heavily discounted mix of both colours, that are smaller, or have a major defect. Will still be large enough to get a card slot from at minimum.

This batch of beavertails are a less "cardboard-y" stiff, and more medium temper, but will still work beautifully for all applications, and are split much more evenly.
